We have two kinds of small groups at Jubilee:

  1. Community Groups

Because community groups are important to us, we're meeting every week. We'll be talking about them a lot and encouraging everyone to be part of one in their neighbourhood. They are central to the relational life of our community and an important place we grow and connect with God and each other. Groups are open to everyone, no matter where you are on your journey with God. Our groups eat together, talk together, and pray together. We're aiming for life together!

Current Community Groups:

Center MR Group (on Thornton Ave)

led by Brian & Della Headley & Glen & Helen Carelse
Wednesday evenings 7:00-9:00
Center of Maple Ridge

WeST MR Group (on KNOTTS St)

led by Duane and Adeline Neufeld
on pause due to life circumstances
Center of Maple Ridge

EAST Group (on 227B St)

led by Ben & Sarah King
Wednesdays 5:30-7:30
East side of Maple Ridge

Email the office with questions or clarification. All our groups will be organized and managed through Realm. If you don't have a Realm profile, create one now: onrealm.org/jubilee

2. Journey Groups

Sometimes we want to get together around a specific topic (like a book study or Alpha) or for a specific purpose (like healing). These groups usually meet for a number of weeks.

Current Journey Groups:

Book Discussion Group

led by Taryn McKay
Thursday evenings for 7 weeks
East Maple Ridge
This is a women’s group doing a book study. The group choses a book to read and discuss together over their weeks together.
This group is ongoing.

We must play. But our merriment must be of that kind (and it is, in fact, the merriest kind) which exists between people who have, from the outset, taken each other seriously—no flippancy, no superiority, no presumption.
— C.S. Lewis
